Hey, I’m Celeste (Cel)

I’m a Perth-based celebrant, but more importantly — I’m someone who genuinely gives a sh*t about people and their stories.

Before this, I spent over 10 years in the corporate world working in marketing and major account management — which basically means I’m organised, calm under pressure, and very good at reading a room. Handy skills when you’re standing in front of a crowd on one of the biggest days of someone’s life.

But truthfully, this job started long before that. I’ve always been a writer. A storyteller. Someone who notices the little things — the way people look at each other, the moments that don’t seem like much but actually mean everything.

That’s what I bring into my ceremonies.

Outside of weddings, I’m a mum of two boys — so life at home is loud, chaotic, and full of snacks, noise, and energy. And honestly… I love it. It’s probably why I don’t get fazed by much and can hold a space that still feels calm, grounded, and fun all at once.

When I’m not in mum mode or wedding mode, you’ll usually find me outside, reading, or planning our next little escape. I’m big on experiences, good chats, and making the most of life — which is exactly the energy I bring into the weddings I’m part of.

As a celebrant, I don’t see myself as the “main character” of your ceremony. I’m more like the narrator — guiding things, setting the tone, and then stepping back so the focus stays exactly where it should be… on you.

I’m here to create something that feels natural, easy, and actually reflective of your relationship. Not overdone, not cringey, not full of words that don’t sound like you. Just real, good, heartfelt stuff — with a few laughs thrown in.

Also — I’m right there with you. I’m currently planning my own 2027 wedding, so I get it… the decisions, the overwhelm, the “why are there SO many options?” moments.

And if I can give you one bit of advice from being on both sides of this — choose vendors that feel like your kind of people. The ones you actually like, not just the ones with the prettiest Instagram grid.
